BOUQUET: For battling hatred, to
Ken McVay, a convenience-store worker
from Victoria B.C. Spending up to eight hours a day on this
home computer linked to the Internet,
Mr. McVay fights electronically
distributed hate mail pumped out by a variety of anti-Semitic,
pro-Nazi organizations and individuals around the world.
Mr. McVay
tags the material, and, through the computer, brings experts together
to denounce it. "There's a war going on here because these people
want the Holocaust all over again,"
Mr. McVay said. "If we don't
fight this now, we're going to have to deal with them 20 or 30 years
down the road."
